Banana Bread

This recipe is scrumptious and works every time! From one of my favorite neighbors, Natalie Rogers.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 2/3 C oil (or applesauce)
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Grease 2 loaf pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Blend bananas, eggs, sugar, oil, sour cream until smooth.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, salt to banana mixture. Add Vanilla. Combine until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into each loaf pan (or bundt pan).
  5. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Let cool.
